You may have heard the exciting news that we recently received funding to conduct a Heritage Audit on the Courtown and Riverchaple Area. This is the first time a project like this has been conducted in this area and it is a wonderful opportunity to dig deep into the past and learn more about our villages and how they have grown over the centuries
With that in mind we are inviting you to drop by to our stand and take a look at some of the treasures we have uncovered and also to help people get involved.
Have some old pictures, brochures, postcards, menus… even old bouys, souvenirs, fishing equipment, street signs, whatever you might have buried in the shed, at the back of the press, hiding between the pages of an old book, please let us know!
So join us at the old National School in Riverchapel from 11am on the 22nd of August!
