Summer Bat Walks!

€5.00

The crowds keep getting bigger for these walks! Graeme and Alan are back again this summer for one of their magical Twilight Walks!

Join the bat experts at dusk as we head into Courtown Woods armed with Electrical Bat Detectors so we can hear them call to each other! You’ll learn all about the Bats, what they eat, where they hide during the day, and why Bats are so important to our environment!

This event is open to all, but please be conscious that as it starts so late, it will finish late too. Typically just before 11 pm so it may not be suitable for smaller members of the family!

Dogs, too, are best left at home if possible for fear of barking away the bats!

There are two dates to choose from, the meeting point is “Car Park Number Two”, which is the smaller car park, also known as the old picnic area at the bottom of the Red Row.

Be sure to book in asap as these walks tend to sell out fast!
