Due to the huge success of last years Bat Walk, this summer we have two!
Graeme and Alan will be back with their detectors so we can get a glimpse into the secret world of bats. Last year participants identified 3 different breeds and learned how essential bats are to the woodland environment.
Starting Point, the Small Car Park at the bottom of the Red Row or Carpark Two on Google Maps
As this walk begins at sundown, it is not suitable for smaller children. We also request you leave the dogs at home as even the quietest pup can get spooked in the woods at night, and inadvertently chase away the bats!
